A Bit of Background

The Arts Council of West Chester & Liberty was incorporated as a 501(3) c, not for profit organization in 1996. Founded by a passionate group of residents who shared a love for and embodied the importance of Arts & Cultural experiences within our Communities.
Today, we continue to believe our strength lies within our Community connections, holding strong to our mission of benefiting and inspiring community through the arts.

The Power of Art. Changing Lives.

Furthering our cause is the most important goal of our organization. We seek to support, empower, and provide high quality Arts resources within the communities we reside. Our success isn’t measured in terms of wealth or profit margin, but by the value we provide to those we serve.

The Arts Council of West Chester & Liberty is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. We work on many exciting projects to help improve the lives of others, and are very proud of the progress we continue to make. The Art form of creative human expression, visual, performing or literary, enriches our lives daily.

Theatre isn't just about entertainment though much joy can be achieved through its experience. There are vital life lessons to beget along the way. Theatre teaches us how to express ourselves more effectively, developing our ability to communicate thoughts and feelings as we create magic on stage.
